Mens sana in corpore sano

In new days, more and more people once they finish the work jump straight into the car and then home….most of the time having a hectic lifestyle and forget that after 8-10 hours of work our body needs to relax too…

Most of us believe that sinking into an armchair in front of TV is enough to relax before going to sleep, but our muscles and mind need a lot more than that…such as…a good evening sport activity, a light evening meal…

An evening walk or jogging is a wonderful activity for our body and relaxes our mind….I speak by personal experience as I always walk a lot or do gym in the evening before I go to sleep or some gym in the early morning before i run to work! And that’s just because all this keeps me in a good shape and comforts me very much!

LIKE THIS …YES…..

LIKE THAT…NO!

In present, less and less  young people practice sport activities and many children or teenagers are over-weighted.

At the same time, lifelong exercise can lead to improved brain function in later life. Exercise your brain by playing chess or doing crosswords or logic games based on mathematical judgement.

Working out both for the body by doing sports or for the mind, improves the quality of our lives by eliminating  the chronic emotional and psychological stress.

Practicing yoga exercises one can enjoy lot of health benefits such as :

  • Stress reduction. A number of studies have shown that yoga can help reduce stress and anxiety. It can also improves your mood and overall sense of well-being.
  • Improved fitness. Practicing yoga can lead to improved balance, flexibility, range of motion and strength. And this means you’re less likely to injure yourself in other physical endeavors or in your daily activities.
  • Management of chronic conditions. Yoga can help reduce risk factors for chronic diseases, such as heart disease and high blood pressure. Yoga might also help alleviate chronic conditions, such as depression, pain, anxiety and insomnia.
