The Muddy Volcanoes

The Berca volcanoes are located in the Buzau country, in Romania. One special feature about them is that the mud that erupts is cold and it comes from the Earth’s continental crust layers. Unlike other mud volcanoes, these volcanoes are easily accessible. The soil being salty, there is hardly any vegetation here. Only, some rare species of plants grow here.
